So i'm not 100 percent sure if this was the assignment, but I hope it is and have fun reading.
SMDAJR- Adam. transcendentai1- Zhen. The translations follow in bold (i hope the layout is the same after it's posted).

SMDAJR (4:09:37 PM): heyy zhen Adam is saying hello to Zhen.
SMDAJR (4:09:38 PM): whats goin on Adam is inquiring as to how Zhen is doing.
SMDAJR (4:10:28 PM): zhen? Adam is trying to find out where Zhen is.
transcendentai1 (4:10:40 PM): yeah Zhen shows her presence.
SMDAJR (4:10:46 PM): whats up how r u Adam asking Zhen, again, how she is doing.
transcendentai1 (4:10:58 PM): fine,thanks Zhen replies that she is "fine."
transcendentai1 (4:11:01 PM): u? Zhen returns the question.
SMDAJR (4:11:03 PM): im aright Adam replies that he is doing ok.
SMDAJR (4:11:05 PM): thanx And he thanks her.
SMDAJR (4:11:08 PM): u have school 2day? Adam is asking Zhen if she had school today.
transcendentai1 (4:11:22 PM): yeah only in the morning Zhen replies that she had class "only in the morning."
transcendentai1 (4:11:30 PM): how about u Zhen now wants to know whether or not Adam had school today.
SMDAJR (4:11:34 PM): cool u work? Adam, still on the previous topic of school, asked Zhen if she works.
SMDAJR (4:11:42 PM): i had school i got out at 3 Now, Adam replies that he ended his school day at 3:00 oclock pm.
transcendentai1 (4:12:03 PM): all of my courses are in the morning All of zhens's classes are in the morning
SMDAJR (4:12:14 PM): very nice Adam shows his approcal of this.
SMDAJR (4:12:19 PM): u worked last night right Adam inquires as to whether or not Zhen worked last night
transcendentai1 (4:12:28 PM): yeah Zhen replies that, in fact, she did.
transcendentai1 (4:12:37 PM): i got home so late And that she got home very late.
SMDAJR (4:12:51 PM): thats cool Adam shows his satisfaction with that.
SMDAJR (4:12:55 PM): u dont have work 2day? And wants to know if she has work again this night.
transcendentai1 (4:13:07 PM): yeah Zhen replies that she does (I think).
SMDAJR (4:13:36 PM): cool Adam shows his approval yet again.
transcendentai1 (4:13:42 PM): im trying to change my screen name, but how can i do that Zhen is considering changing her screen name, and asks how to go about doing that.
SMDAJR (4:13:51 PM): not sure maybe u hafta make a new 1 Adam is not sure, and thinks that she may have to make a new screen name.
SMDAJR (4:13:54 PM): back 2 hunhun? And asks if that new screen name will be her original one, "hunhun."
transcendentai1 (4:14:07 PM): y Zhen says "who's asking??"
transcendentai1 (4:14:12 PM): but.. And is a bit confused.
transcendentai1 (4:14:25 PM): i don't know how to do And confesses she doesn't know her to change her screen name.
SMDAJR (4:14:29 PM): me either im sry' And neither does Adam.
SMDAJR (4:14:49 PM): i g2g 4 a min, ill sign back on soon though in like 15 Adam says that he has to go do something for a minute, but that he will be back soon, in about 15 minutes.
SMDAJR (4:14:51 PM): ttys k? And that he will talk to Zhen soon. He seeks her approval.
transcendentai1 (4:15:26 PM): omg, explain those letters Zhen is confused, and doesn't understand what Adam said.
SMDAJR (4:15:34 PM): u dont know? Adam is puzzled that Zhen didn't understand him.
SMDAJR (4:15:39 PM): talk to you soon So he repeats himself (By saying he'll tlak to her soon)
transcendentai1 (4:16:02 PM): a little bit hard Zhen explains why she didn't understand what Adam had said.
SMDAJR (4:16:18 PM): sry Adam apologizes.
SMDAJR (4:16:23 PM): ill ttys i g2g 4 a min Adam says he will talk to Zhen soon, because he has to go away from the computer for a minute.
SMDAJR (4:16:28 PM): if i dont come back soon ill ttyl And that Zhen should not wait, because if he doesn't come back he will talk to her later.
transcendentai1 (4:16:36 PM): ok,no prob Zhen tells Adam that that is quite alright.
transcendentai1 (4:16:49 PM): i will be on line all day Becuase she will be on the internet all day.
SMDAJR (4:16:52 PM): k bye Adam understand, and bids adeu'.
